OUR MISSION
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENAGELISTIC MINISTRY - (sunton ) is a holistic ministry that exists to proclaim the Word of God and serve the community through evangelism, social, economic and cultural programs, leadership development, mentorship, discipleship and capacity building in Kenya and beyond.
We Endeavor:

Credibility/Integrity/Transparency/Accountability
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) shall continue to maintain a high standard of Credibility, Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in all manner of the ministry, e.g., moral integrity, financial integrity, accountability in handling scriptures, and in family life. (1 Corinthians 4:1 and 2, 1 Timothy 4: 16, and 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Timothy 3:1-3, Titus 1: 5-9)
Hospitality/Love/Care and Compassion
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) exists for the transformation of society through mercy ministries, providing relief and care, medical services and other ministries that bless the community.(Matthew 25:34 – 40, Titus 1: 7 – 8)
Relationship/Friendship
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) seeks to promote wholesome relationships and friendship among leaders and the congregation at all levels in family, social and ministry interactions. (Proverbs 18:24, John 15:15)
Inclusiveness and Teamwork
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) shall exercise an apostolic mode of leadership at all levels: nationally, regionally and locally, that makes room for all, men, women, professionals, young, old etc., to exercise their God given gifts in the Body of Christ. (Romans 12: 1 – 8)
Sustainability
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) shall seek to implement new means and methods of raising material and financial resources for the sustainability of the work of the ministry besides the traditional methods of the tithes and offerings. (Matthew 25: 14- 29)
Teaching the Word/Fellowship/Prayer/Praise and worship based on faith/Holiness/Fruit of the Spirit
Every congregation shall be characterized by audible praise, worship, private and public prayer, and public preaching from scriptures. These shall be manifested through exercising our faith, practical manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit and holiness characterized by the fruit of the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12: 14 -11, Romans 12: 3 – 8, Galatians 5: 22 – 25)
Innovation/Creativity
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) shall seek for new and relevant means, ways and methods of doing ministry in a changing world, without compromising the core message of the gospel. (Matthew 25:14 – 29, Galatians 6:5, Deuteronomy 8:18)
Sacrifice/Commitment/Sacrificial service
Deliverance Church Umoja shall expect all her ministers and members to raise their level of commitment and sacrifice to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the course of the gospel. (Luke 9: 23- 25, Acts 20:20, Hebrews 10:39, Luke 9: 57- 62)
Servant-hood/Humility
Every person who holds a position of leadership in Deliverance Church Umoja shall function from a position of a servant and not a master, as exemplified by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Mark 10: 42 – 45, 2 Timothy 2: 24 – 25)
Order/Sound doctrines/Excellence
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) shall endeavor to maintain sound doctrine and excellence in handling of the Holy Scriptures, in preaching and practical living, and maintaining kingdom order in all our Church services. (Acts 20:26 – 28, 1 Corinthians 14, 33, and Jude 3, Titus 2:1)
Networking/Partnerships
APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVENGELISTIC CHURCH MINISTRY (SUNTON) will work with individuals who are not necessarily from Deliverance Church Umoja, and organizations that are like minded in doctrine, to assist the church to achieve its vision and mission. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)
